The Ledbury Estate is a major council-led housing renewal project adjacent to the busy Old Kent Road, with new council homes, an upgraded community hall, set within a walkable and cycle-friendly bio-diverse landscape designed with amenity for all ages.

Lewis Hubbard Engineering helped analyse various combinations of development areas, advised on fixed infrastructure constraints to shape the masterplan, before preparing the flood risk assessment and utilities statement for the planning submission. The resulting proposals create places for people within a rich ecology, embodying the principles of healthy streets, water sensitive urban design and the careful use of materials.
