The Ledbury Estate is a major housing renewal project adjacent to the busy Old Kent Road led by Southwark Council. It features new council homes and an upgraded community hall set within a walkable and cycle-friendly bio-diverse landscape, designed with amenity for all ages.

Working with Karakusevic Carson Architects, Lewis Hubbard Engineering helped analyse various combinations of development areas and advised on fixed infrastructure constraints to shape the masterplan. We additionally prepared the flood risk assessment and utilities statement for the planning submission. The resulting proposals create places for people within a rich ecology, embodying the principles of healthy streets, water sensitive urban design and the careful use of materials.
