Steyne Estate, Ealing

Ealing Council’s renewal of The Steyne Estate introduces over 180 new homes and improvements to the public realm and landscape around the existing Moreton and Rufford Towers. One of the new buildings has been specially designed as residences for older adults, while the other provides a majority of affordable homes.

We worked with Karakusevic Carson Architects and Studio ONB to shape the landscape and public realm, coordinating complicated site levels and utility infrastructure constraints. The proposals therefore aim to work with the site’s constraints, minimising the cost of enabling infrastructure works and so maximising the investment into spaces that are valued by the community.
